Think of our Raven In-Line Amplifiers as signal boosters.
As with any electromagnetic radiowave, GPS signals become weaker as they are passed through electrical cable. The amount of signal loss depends on the type and the length of cable used. Typically, when antenna cable runs exceed 50 feet, signal loss can become a problem. Raven In-Line Amplifiers eliminate this issue by amplifying the GPS signal. With the right Raven In-Line Amplifier, you can extend your antenna cable runs hundreds of feet!
Raven’s LA series can amplify both L1 (1575.42 MHz) and L2 (1227.60 MHz) frequencies and will improve performance on receivers with cable lengths of more than 50 ft. Just plug the amplifier directly in line with your antenna cable — no extra wiring is required.
As with all Raven products, our in-line amplifiers come with a full one-year parts and labor warranty.
